hello i again ! weel y have an idea with the shadow way and it is that: the magic way the sword way and the archery way have ways to combat and my ideais thath the shadow way should have one i dont know how but y imagine like doing criticals and deseiveding the monsters into thinking that you are with they like the spell and scaping ... i don`t know maybe is an stupid idea but also a change is with skill istead of avoid a lot reduct damage...

I guess what you mean is that a thief on itself is hard to play.
I agree with that!
They can do critical hits and sneak by some monsters but if this is not possible they run into severe problems.
But I have no real clue what we can do about that. Right now the "Way of the Shadows" is more like an addition to the "way of the sword".
Somebody any good ideas here?

one can be a bigger maximun of dex
to escape from the monster and do more criticals...

oh shut up this skill could do that and allow you to dodge hits in say my dex is 7 the dodge percent is doubled so 14 but it should cost 3 trait points

There are some nice magic tricks e.g. "dimensional swap" in air magic or "vanish" in illusion magic to get out of those situations.
To grant a thief an easy but not unfair access to that sort of magic a skill "shadow thaumaturgy" would do the job, working like the already existing thaumaturgy but producing only wands for a quite small subset of spells which are usefull for thiefes. (I would include "portal" (earth magic) "dimensional swap" (air magic) and a lot of illusion magic. I would also consider a shielding spell and some of the witchcraft spells (e.g. 'poison' to have an attack spell)
Or just add a secondary skill which modifies the thaumaturgy skill.
