Has anybody considered porting the game to the Android operating system, using any one of the interpreters available on this platform?

We need gcc, sdl and an x server for the game.
None of this exists on android imho.
Andoid is just a java virtual machine :(

A port to the maemo plattform would be possible and we will try, when we find time, to do that.

yes I heard recently that google allows developers to use gcc as well.
We still run into more problems. As we recently staqrted to use the newest verion of purebasic again for development because elice could not support the newest features. So right now we are not able to convert our code to c++ anymore.
Maybe in the future there will be a version of the compiler again that compiles the game.
Then we can try to get it running on android.

It would of course be really nice to have an android port.

Its not possible to post links in the first posts. As we have loads of bots that spam our forums. So you could just try again. Maybe it works then :D
