Hi,

From the FAQ, I see that if you reach level 150, you could get:
- 1500 points from levels
- 1500 points from monsters (if you killed at least 7 500 monsters)
- 1500 points from gold (if you have at least 15 000 gold)
- From Laby toybox.de, I get that I can get 900 points from the 9 staff pieces, and 1000 from completing the staff.

In total, I thought the maximum would be 6400. How is it possible that the highscore is 6960? What am I missing?

Thanks for the help!

You get +1000 points when you survive the labyrinth

Thanks for the quick answer.

However, it still doesn't explains the highscore (lepisma with 6960 points):
- He should have maximum 4500 points from level/monster/gold
- 800 from staff pieces (he didn't assemble the staff, so he doesn't get +1000)
- 1000 from finishing the game
TOTAL: 6300, not 6960

There is probably one more mechanic not explined in the FAQ :-)

Thanks!

There is indeed.

Code:
  Select event
    Case #SCORE_NEW_LEVEL
      *Player\LevelPoints + 10
      *Player\Statistics\LevelsExplored + 1

    Case #SCORE_MONSTER_KILL
      *Player\CombatPoints + 0.2
      *Player\Statistics\MonstersKilled + 1

    Case #SCORE_MONSTER_SNEAK
      *Player\CombatPoints + 0.2

    Case #SCORE_MONSTER_CHARM
      *Player\CombatPoints + 0.2

    Case #SCORE_TRAP_DETECT
      *Player\AdventurePoints + 0.2

    Case #SCORE_TRAP_TRIGGERED
      *Player\AdventurePoints + 0.1

    Case #SCORE_TRAP_DODGED
      *Player\AdventurePoints + 0.2

    Case #SCORE_TRAP_DISARMED
      *Player\AdventurePoints + 0.5
      *Player\Statistics\TrapsDisarmed + 1

    Case #SCORE_FOUND_SECRET_DOOR
      *Player\AdventurePoints + 0.2
      *Player\Statistics\SecretDoorsFound + 1

    Case #SCORE_FOUND_HIDDEN_TREASURE
      *Player\AdventurePoints + 0.2

    Case #SCORE_OPEN_DOOR
      *Player\AdventurePoints + 0.05
      *Player\Statistics\DoorsOpened + 1

    Case #SCORE_UNLOCK_DOOR
      *Player\AdventurePoints + 0.1

    Case #SCORE_UNLOCK_CHEST
      *Player\AdventurePoints + 0.2

    Case #SCORE_LOOT_CHEST
      *Player\AdventurePoints + 0.1

    Case #SCORE_DIG_TREASURE
      *Player\AdventurePoints + 0.2

    Case #SCORE_ROOM_EXPLORED
      *Player\AdventurePoints + 1
      *Player\Statistics\RoomsExplored + 1
  EndSelect

As you can see from the code snippet, there is a fourth score category we call "adventure points".
With that, you can get 4*1500 = 6,000 points, plus 1000 for winning for a maximum score of 7,000 points.
You don't get any points for staff pieces if you win, so if you climb down all 150 levels, it does not matter if you collected any. This should be changed imo.
P.S. : I think you need to have 75,000 gold to get the maximum possible gold points. The F.A.Q. is outdated.
