You have to load the laby.pb file.
Then just press compile.

sdl and racc is only for linux.
In windows you need nothing to compile but directx 6 and up to play the game.

Right. You have to use purebasic 4.20.
That is what we still use.
On the homepage you can also get older versions of the compiler.

In one of the future releases we want to switch to mingw and compile
the game with our own compiler elice on windows too.
As soon as this is working we will publish a new howto.

There is a lot to do.
Best is you get an account for the bugtracker.
There you will find open issues.

Problem very often is that laby is only half translated into english yet.
When we come over code that is in german we change it but we still have a lot of work here ahead.

i could only create a reporter account on mantis (which makes sense because you probably don't want random people to mess with issues), so i cannot mark issues as resolved. i didn't check, but probably i don't have the rights to commit on svn.

thats right.
you will get rights to change issues and commit to svn after you are familiar with the code and have something to contribute to the project.

What would you like to help with?
Are u a programmer? Graphics guy? Web-developer?

Whats your Operating System?
Markus: LinuxMint with the kde desktop.
Grunz: Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop.

If you use Windows you could take the Windows part ;)
