 Post subject: 5.3 keyboard repeat speed

why is it so fast , i cant find a way to reduce the repeat speed
i'm barely to type my name like this MKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

1.magic book
2.typing name
3.inventory
4.skill

I have no clue why it's so fast for you - works fine for me.
Windows7 64 bit and Ubuntu 64 are my test/develop systems.

But you can adjust the key repeat speed in the settings:
Code:
Linux: ~/.lostlaby/settings.txt
Windows: /documents and settings/$USERNAME/.lostlaby/settings.txt

Higher number give slower key repeat speed there.

great , this resolve my problem.

I set it

; key_repeat: in milliseconds
key_repeat = 100

now its ok. but one of my friend Dr.X(played 4.9ver) , got the same problem
maybe its come from the old .lostlaby ?

or we should set this in zip of download ?

The game will always use the file sitting in .lostlaby. Only if that one does not exist, it will read the defaults from the settings.txt sitting in the game directory.
It will then create a .lostlaby/settings.txt file.
Problem might come from existing old files.

Unlucky should be place in flaws instead of quirks ?

Native Sorcery says +25% cast chance to all spells , but now it only increase your chosen school by25% , is it planned ?

Yes, with -2 CP it is a flaw, and shown as such within the game. The problem is that the data for the highscore website is not yet up to date.
We also got some of the newer skills displayed "typeless" in white because there is no colour data stored for them.

Yes, quite so. That "Sorcery" and "Native Sorcery" DID negate the flaws of Scroll Lore and Free Magic was an error in the first place. The remaining problem now is that the skill description of "Native Sorcery" does not tell you that.
