Hi,
is it possible to make new pages in the dokuwiki? I made a sortable excel spreadsheet of all monster types and their values. If anybody is interested, I could rewrite it for the wiki.

There is a skill in the game that is called "monsterlore" which explains the monsters when you look at them.
With this list this skill would be completely useless.
Its kind of cheating the game.
So I don't think we should publish that.
What we would post is a complete list of the items.
That players know what items exist in the game.

I'll do that, as soon as I have some free time. I will probably also make tables for the skills and the spells. Do you think the English names are sufficient? The tables get quite big if I include all 3 translations.

I think it would be best to have 3 different files. One for each language.
If we format it right (like the FAQ's and readme's) we could also display it inside the game in the help screen.

Not sure if this format serves for the lists though.

I wrote a programm to parse the init_*.pbi files into a Hashtable. Now I can generate outputfiles in whatever format you like. For myself I'll generate ';' seperated lists, so I can import them into excel and sort the lists.

If you want an output format for the ingame description, just tell me the format you would like the data in. I can generate the files for german and english but not spanish. (I don't thing an automated translation is worth it.)

Btw, is the dokuwiki actually in use. First I wanted to make the files for the wiki, too. But then I noticed that it's only a copy of the FAQ.

I wonder how you found the dokuwiki at all
I just set it up and did nothing else with it. There is not even a button to get there from the page's main menu.
Just copied the faq as it was in there.
Found no time yet to give it a design and stuff.
If you like you could set a nice dokuwiki up on your machine and then give me a copy to put on the page.
Would be nice when the users could help improve the game's documentation.
Best is to have a look at the FAQ files to know how many characters fit in a line to be displayed correctly in the game.

If it comes to finding stuff, you can't beat google.
What do you mean by setting up a new wiki? I just edited yours. :D
You can have a look at the weapons and armor section.
I'll try formating the item list later, so it fits into the game.

So I will include a button to the Wiki on the page soon.
We have to put a lot more work into it. Maybe it should in the future completely replace the faq.

Had a look at the pages you made and think they are useful.
Thanks for that!
